IMPORTANCE OF COMMUNICATION AND COMPREHENSION IN A RELATIONSHIP.

Communication and comprehension is very important when it comes to being in a relationship. No matter the type of relationship it is, be it a family relationship, friendship or romantic relationship.

Without communication and comprehension, there'll be problems In the relationship. 

    As a parent you have to communicate with your kids and understand them, this helps in strengthening the family bond and it goes along way In the life of the kids. When communication and comprehension is lacking in the family, it forces one to go astray and leads to permanent exposures, depression, bad decisions, and mistakes such as sexual abuse, drug abuse, pornography addiction, early and  unwanted pregnancy, criminal activities and even suicidal attempts. etc. Sometimes what kids really want is to have really good talks with their parents and also for their parents to understand them. 

A child could be giving his/her parents hints and signals on what he/she is struggling with but due to lack of communication and understanding the child ends up going astray. This is one of the things children of this generation are struggling with. There's none to talk to or relate with, which is part of the reasons why there's high rates of depression today.

          Same goes to friendship. Lack of communication and comprehension could possibly ruin  the friendship. Your friend could play the role of a psychologist to you.

Most especially when your struggling with things you can't relate with to your parents, that's when your friends come in, your true friends. Friendship is not just all about partying, drinking e.t.c. Your true friends are people you can depend on, people who won't judge you when you tell them your struggles. They're to help build you into becoming a better version of yourself and to do that, communication and understanding is needed.

     When it comes to romantic relationship, communication and comprehension helps build the bond stronger.

You can't be hiding things from your partner and expect a peaceful relationship, especially when it comes to the females.

Females love it when their partner understands them. Learn to relate and understand your partner. Be transparent to your partner and also be ready to listen. People feel more safe when they can relate with their partners. Study your partner. Discuss the past, present and future, discuss What they like, what they don't, reasons why they like what they like and vice versa.

Your relationship will become more peaceful when your partner is someone you can talk to like a best friend and not a stranger.
